West Garo Hills police seek public help to identify unclaimed female body

The West Garo Hills police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying an unidentified female body found by the roadside at Rimtangpara Village, P.O. Purakhasia, West Garo Hills.

According to the Superintendent of Police, the body was sent to Tura Civil Hospital for a postmortem to ascertain the cause of death. It remains unclaimed.

The deceased has been described as a non-tribal female with a swarthy complexion, thin build, and approximately 4 feet 8 inches tall. She has shoulder-length hair and was found wearing black cotton plazo pants and a grey long-sleeved sweater. She also wore a silver chain and religious amulets (tabis) around her neck.

The police have urged relatives or anyone with information to come forward and claim the body within three days of this notice. For any leads or inquiries, the public can contact 9485025225.
