Wear mask at home: DC to govt employees on duty

The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Isawanda Laloo has directed all government employees to wear masks even at home. She also directed all offices to strictly maintain COVID19 protocols.

The order was issued pertaining to curfew order which permitted Banks & Post Offices to open during the Lockdown period.

The officers and staff of the said offices on duty may furnish their IDs as curfew pass strictly for the purpose of commuting to work and back. All offices will function at 50% strength and close by 4:30 PM. The concerned authorities will also furnish the name & designation of the officers/staff on duty along with the vehicle numbers to the office of the undersigned via email at [email protected] for monitoring of movement of vehicles during curfew, the order said

Any other movement unrelated to work is prohibited.
