    The Voice of People Party (VPP) has fielded Deity H Majaw from Laitumkhrah Malki MDC Constituency in the ensuing MDC election.

    Majaw is the daughter of former MLA and presently nominated MDC Bindo M Lanong.

    Majaw is one of the Advocates in the State and she is also the secretary of the High Court of Meghalaya Bar Association, Shillong.

    The VPP will field Kynjohlang Rangtong from Mawhati Constituency where the sitting MDC is Charles Marngar. Marngar is also the local MLA of Mawhati Constituency.

    Dr. Samely Shylla will battle out sitting MDC Lakhon Dkhar from Amwi Khliehtyrshi Constituency while Thiyo Lapasam will contest from newly created Saphai Sahsniang Constituency.

    Soki Lapasam will contest from Muthlong Sohkymphor Constituency while Tyngshain Phawa will battle out from Khliehriat Rymbai Constituency and Prince Sukhlein from Saipung Nongkhlieh.
