Unidentified man found dead on National Highway 6

An unidentified man was found dead from road side at Ialong village on Saturday last.

Police said that the body was found in a deserted NH-6 road and suspected to be hit and run case by vehicle.

After autopsy, the dead body is being kept at Jowai Civil Hospital Morgue Room and till date no one has come forward to claim.

In this connection a case has been registered vide Jowai PS Case No. 32(03)2022 U/S 279/304(A) IPC for further investigation.

Hair- Black
Face- Round
Wearing apparel- Black Pant, Black Jacket
Remark- Burn Mark on the chest
