Unidentified male person found death by hanging in East Jaintia Hills

One unidentified middle aged male person was found death by hanging in Cham Cham Village under East Jaintia Hills District and even after three days police are still clueless on his identity and the reason behind his unnatural death.

Police said that the headman of Cham Cham village informed that one male dead body was found hanging at the village side.

During enquiry at crime scene, one unidentified male dead body aged about 53 years approximately was found hanging partially from the branch of a tree in the bush at Cham Cham village.

Accordingly, inquest was held over the dead body and after observing all the formalities the dead body of the deceased was sent for DM& HO Civil Hospital Khliehriat for conducting Post Mortem Examination and the same was kept at Civil Hospital Khliehriat Morgue room.
