Unidentified male body recovered in East Jaintia Hills District

Meghalaya Police recovered one unidentified male body behind shops located opposite a Petrol Pump near Sweet Chili Guest House in Mynkre, East Jaintia Hills District on December 29, last at around 4:05 PM.

Police said that the deceased is suspected to be a non-tribal male aged between 50 to 55 years old with an oval face, swarthy complexion, and separated eyebrows. The deceased worn a brown and black innerwear and a beige shirt with brown stripes.

Police appealed to the general public to assist in the identification of the deceased and they can contact the investigating officer at 7085809941 if they have any details.

Police informed inquest and autopsy was conducted at Khliehriat Civil Hospital, and the body is kept at the Morgue of Khliehriat Civil Hospital.
