    In connection with the incident on the morning of July 6, 2024, in Umpleng Cement area, East Jaintia Hills District, Meghalaya, four unidentified bodies with multiple grievous injuries were recovered.

    Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills, stated in an official communiqué that three out of the four bodies have been identified and claimed by their respective relatives. However, one body remains unclaimed at the morgue of Khliehriat Civil Hospital, East Jaintia Hills District.

    The unclaimed deceased is a male, approximately 21-24 years old, about 5.5 feet tall, with a V-shaped face, medium/average build, dark tan skin, and straight hair styled in a top hair bun. He was wearing a black T-shirt with the words “New York Yankees” in white, black short pants/boxers, and blue-yellow Crocs sandals.

    Anyone with information about the deceased is urged to contact via WhatsApp at 7085809941 or email at [email protected]. All concerned who can identify the deceased are requested to contact the concerned Investigation Officer for taking necessary action.
