UDP to soon meet CM over roster, clashes at Khanduli, power crisis

The core committee of the United Democratic Party (UDP) on Friday deliberated on the roster system and reservation policy of the state.

Informing this, UDP state vice president Allantry Franklin Dkhar said the meeting also discussed the frequency of harassment of our border residents by people from Assam, latest being the recent clashes at Khanduli.

Further, the meeting also deliberated on the power crisis faced by the state which has resulted in load shedding that has affected the state as a whole.

“It was decided that the views and concerns will be expressed to the Chief Minister on his return to the state capital,” Dkhar said while adding an appointment to this regard will be sought for at the earliest possible.
