Two vehicles & two persons buried under debris of boulders in Pynursla

In a tragic incident at Rngain area in Pynursla, East Khasi Hills District, two vehicles viz one Datsun RediGo MLO5 T 7892 and Mahindra Bolero ML06A 3026 were buried under the heavy debris of boulders and earth on Friday’s evening due to occurrence of landslide.

According to unconfirmed report, two persons were feared to be buried under debris as they could not get out of their vehicles.

Rescue operation is still underway and an Ambulance is already on the standy beside the place of occurrence.

The Datsun Redi Go belonged to Seiborlang Jaktung and he is the headman of Wahlyngkat village. But it could not be ascertained whether he was travelling in vehicle or not.
