    SHILLONG: Two vehicles including a government gypsy were torched by miscreants in the city on Wednesday afternoon.

    The two arson incidents had taken place at Langkyrding and Mawlai, Mawtawar.

    A government gypsy (ML 01 5716) belonging to Public Works Department (PWD) was torched by miscreants at around 12.45 pm when it was parked near an international school at Langkyrding, police said.

    It was after only few hours, another pick up truck having Assam registration number (AS 18 C 8797) was also set ablaze at Mawtawar at around 2 pm, they said.

    Confirming this, a senior police officer said that cases have been registered and investigation has started to find out the culprits.
