  • Two unclaimed dead bodies lying at Shillong Civil Hospital morgue

    The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Civil Hospital, Shillong on Thursday informed that two male patients named Deka Bora (35) and Ribarson Kharbihkhiew (27) were lying unclaimed in morgue of Civil Hospital, Shillong.

    He informed that Deka Bora, aged 35 years, from Umshyrpi, Shillong was admitted in the COVID-19 Unit 1 at Civil Hospital, Shillong on 02.05.2021 at 10:00 PM. The patient expired on 31.05.2021 at 07:25 PM.

    Ribarson Kharbihkhiew, aged 27 years, from Nongmynsong, Shillong was admitted in the COVID-19 Unit 2 at Civil Hospital, Shillong on 25.05.2021 at 05:30 PM. The patient expired on 01.06.2021 at 01:30 PM.

    All concerned relatives, etc. are requested to collect the dead bodies from the Hospital Morgue immediately, failing which the dead bodies will be send for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
