Two tourists from Gujarat rescued at Sohra

The State police on Tuesday rescued two tourists after they lost their ways in the gorges of Nohkalikai falls, Sohra.

East Khasi Hills SP Sylvester Nongtnger said after receiving information, a team from Sohra police station led by WPSI Vandana Diengdoh was dispatched to search for the duo.

The two tourists – Avani Soni and Abhishek Jamwal – were rescued by the police. They hailed from Vasna road, Vadodara, Gujarat.
