Two persons arrested along with 3 stolen bikes from Mawsynram

Two persons were arrested along with three stolen bikes from Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills District on Wednesday.

They have been identified as Sengku M Marak (24) and Cornalius Mukhim (18), SP Vivek Syiem said.

He said the Mawsynram Police Station  while conducting checking intercepted two bikes stolen from Shillong and 1 from Assam. 

One rider tried to escape the checking and a hot chase ensued. The bike was abandoned and the accused fled away.

Three bikes-  AS19 N 8664, ML 05AD 3852 and ML05 AE 1218 were recovered by the police.
