Two more compounds declared as containment in Shillong

Due to the detection of positive COVID-19 cases/ high risk contacts, District Magistrate East Khasi Hill on Friday has declared more containment areas to contain the further spread of COVID-19.

The compound includes Rana Compound and Md. Salim Compound at Lower Mawprem.

The house of Smti B. Dkhar, Amjad Ali Road, Laban and building of Smti Berina Shabong (Lumpdeng) Lawsohtun Block II also placed under containment.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit movement on site which require aggressive contact tracing, quarantine, testing and isolation as well as containment in the interest of the health of the general public against any possible spread of COVID-19 

In an order the areas declared as containment areas with effect from 21st August, 2020 so as to restrict unregulated entry and exit movement on site.
