  • Two more candidates debarred from ongoing recruitment of Meghalaya Police

    Two more candidates have been debarred from future police recruitment after they resorted to unfair practice during the ongoing written test for Meghalaya Police recruitment conducted by the Central Recruitment Board of Meghalaya Police.

    On May 31 year during the written test for the post of Fireman in various Districts in one of the examination centres in Eastern West Khasi Hills, one candidate bearing Roll No 33002444 resorted to malpractice by using unfair means and violated the rules and guidelines of the Examination.

    Meanwhile during the written test for the post of Driver Fireman in one of the examination centres in East Jaintia Hills, one candidate bearing Roll No 33032220 resorted to malpractice by using unfair means during the examination which amounted to violation of the rules/guidelines of the Examination.

    The two particular persons bearing the above roll number are hereby debarred from future police recruitment irrespective of post(s) to be conducted by the CRB and his/her candidature for this present recruitment stands rejected.

    However, if the concerned persons wish to contend/appeal or file representation against this Order, he/she may do so to the appellate authority CRB by submitting petition through the Superintendent of Police concerned districts.

    Earlier on 18th May, this year during the written test for the post of UBSI in one of the examination centres in West Khasi Hills, one candidate bearing Roll No 11018783 resorted to malpractice by using unfair means during the examination.  While, one candidate bearing Roll No 33025614 who appeared in the written examination for the post of Un-Armed Branch Constable (UBC) in West Garo Hills District on May 25, this year reportedly resorted to malpractices by using unfair means during the examination.
