Two minor boys charred to death in West Jaintia Hills

In a tragic incident, two minors were charred to death at a fire incident in West Jaintia Hills District on Monday night.

The incident occurred at Moodymmai Village under Ummulong Police Outpost when an unexplained fire engulfed the house of Dashisha Talang. Due to the intense heat, the LPG Cylinder exploded and reduce the house made of wooden planks and CGI Sheets to ashes.

At that point of time,there were only two minor boys namely Edify Laloo aged 8 years and Jawanalderliefest Talang aged 10 years and who were sleeping inside the house and could not escape. Their mortal remains were complete charred beyond recognition.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established. Two fire tenders and Ummulong OP police rushed to the spot.
