    Are you creative, innovative and skillful in emblem designing, then here it is a golden opportunity for you not only to showcase your talent but also to earn 50000 rupees as prize money if your design get selected as the official emblem of an important department of the Government of Meghalaya.

    The Meghalaya Sports and Youth Affairs Department announced an open invitation to the citizens of Meghalaya to submit designs for the new emblem reflect the department renewed commitment towards Sporting Excellence and Empowered Youth in Meghalaya.

    The proposed emblem of the Department should ideally reflect the culture of the State and focus on the progressive and highly motivated culture of sports and youth along with the vision of Department.

    The logo would be unveiled as representative for both the DSYA and Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.

    On the Guidelines and technical specifications for entries, the Department informed the Logo should be submitted in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format only. If file contains spot colours or RGB colours, they will be converted to CMYK File should be high resolution- at least 600 pixels per inch at 100% size.

    File should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on screen at 100%. Entries can be in digital illustrations or colour pencils/oil pastels.

    Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats. Each entry should be accompanied by a brief written explanation of the Logo and how best it encapsulates its essence.

    All winners will be required to grant copyright of the design to the Government of Meghalaya should submit along with the proof of citizenship of Meghalaya and contact details.

    Awards & Recognition includes Winner: Rs. 50,000/, Runner-up: Rs. 30,000/ and second runner-up: Rs. 15,000/-

    Prize money will be transferred to the winner only through electronic transfer as per the bank details submitted by the winner via email.

    All the entries to be sent to the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs on the email: dsyamegh@gmail.com along with a forwarding letter indicating full name, address, contact details and brief bio/profile of the submitting individual.

    Last date of receiving the entries: 10th October, 2023
