Truck burnt down in Bholaganj

The situation in Shillong city and Shella areas continues to be fluid as two fresh incidents were reported on Thursday.

According to police special bulletin, at around 2:30 AM on Thursday, one truck B/R No. MZ B0B5 loaded with stone boulders belonging to one Ashok Chand R/o Bholaganj which was parked at PS, was burnt down by some unknown miscreants. However, no casualty reported.

Further on Thursday at 10-11 AM some unknown miscreants assaulted two construction labourers at Lawsohtun Block-V under Laban PS. However medical examination ruled out any injuries on them.
