    The first couple minutes of the first and only day of the Summer Session of the JHADC on Monday witnessed high tension drama between JHADC Chairman Dr Sankey Shangpung and opposition Trinamool Congress (TMC) MDC Andrew A Shullai.

    Shullai who is the MDC of Jowai Central constituency was furious over the absence of his motion in the list of business of the Summer Session. Shullai submitted a motion on the need of e-governance and digitzation to the JHADC’s chairman office and he demanded an explanation from the Chairman as to why his motion was leftout from the list of business.

    Dr. Shangpung informed that both matters are implemented by the JHADC hence he refused to include the motion for discussion.

    Shullai hit back at Chairman and informed that the JHADC website was not updated, is it this “you implement digitalization,” asked Andrew and walk out of the House to protest the refusal of the Chairman.

    Thombor Shiwat CEM, JHADC place the official report. The house paid tribute to Ex MDC, (L) Saron Ksoo and (L) Philemon Lyngdoh.
