    West Jaintia Hills Superintendent of Police has announced traffic arrangements for the Behdieñkhlam Festival 2025, which will be held in Jowai from July 11 to 14. The plan includes road closures, one-way routes, no-parking zones, and designated parking areas to manage traffic during the celebrations.

    On July 12, no entry will be enforced from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM on routes connecting New Hill, Iawmusiang, H.K. Singh, Dawki Stand, and Sumo Stand.

    On July 13, no entry will be in place from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM from Loomsooïung (New Hill) through Iawmusiang, H.K. Singh, Chutwakhu, Khliehchnong, and Chiliangraij. From 12:00 noon to 4:30 PM, additional restrictions will apply in Stand War, Mynthong Road near the District Library, Mission Compound, and Iongpiah Road.

    Iawmusiang, Stand War, Mission Compound Road, and Iongpiah Road will be no-parking zones. One-way traffic will be implemented in several parts of the town, and Aitnar area will be a no-vehicle zone.

    Parking will be allowed at Jrisaleiñ Ground for larger vehicles, Iawmusiang area stands, near Thomas Jones Synod College (one-side parking), and Wah-gate area for light vehicles.

    The police have also announced vehicle staggering along NH-44 from Riatturim to New Hill Police Point on July 11 and 12 for the movement of Symbood Khnong, Dieñkhlam, and Khnong Blai processions.
