    Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills, Jowai, on Friday has announced the following traffic arrangements in view of the closing ceremony of the 6th Meghalaya Games, which will be held on 25 January 2025 at Kiang Nangbah Stadium, Jowai.

    The arrangements are aimed at ensuring a smooth flow of traffic in the area and will be effective from 2:00 PM onwards.

    Entry Restrictions: Only VIPs and officials with a Car Pass will be permitted entry from Ïawthymme towards Kiang Nangbah Stadium.

    One-Way Entry: One-way traffic will be enforced from Salaroh towards Polytechnic, Jowai.

    No Entry Zone: Entry from Dongmihsngi towards Kiang Nangbah Stadium will be prohibited.

    Parking: One-side parking will be allowed from Salaroh towards Polytechnic, Jowai for the general public.

    The Superintendent of Police urges the cooperation of all Headmen of the respective localities and the general public.
