    In view of the counting of votes for Dolloi’s Electiob at MDC’s Hostel in Riatsaitsim, Jowai, the West Jaintia Hills district Police has announced a numbers of temporary traffic arrangements to avoid any traffic jams before and after the counting of votes on Friday.

    The Election to the Dolloishop of Elaka Nartiang and Elaka Shangpung was held on Wednesday.

    The Counting of votes will commence from 9:30 AM at MDC Hostel Riatsiatsim, Jowai.

    The temporary traffic arrangement will begin from 7 AM till withdrawn.

    “One Way” will be imposed from Stand War towards Amlarem.
    All attending vehicles are to park towards Mynthong Road.

    “No Vehicle Zone” will be imposed on the stretch of MDC Hostel.
    All types of vehicles coming from Amlarem are to proceed towards Amlarem Bypass.

    There will be “No Parking” on the whole stretch of Amlarem Road (Riatsiatsim).
    “No Entry” will be imposed at Riatsiatsim towards stand war and on both sides towards MDC Hostel road (Counting Centre).
