    The Deputy Commissioner, Supply, West Jaintia Hills has instructed all Traders of Essential Commodities not to hike the price and hoard the essential commodities especially pulses like Tur, Urad, Moong and Onion.

    The Deputy Commissioner has further instructed the traders to display stock cum price boards of the essential commodities in front of their shops.

    The DC has warned stern actions against those not following the order and will be punished as under the provision of Essential Commodities Act 1955
