Tourists must hire guide for trekking: East Khasi Hills DC

The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, who is also the Chairperson of the District Tourism Promotion Society (DTPS), has announced that it is mandatory for all tourists to hire a tourist guide while going for treks in the district.

This step has been taken to ensure the safety of visitors and to prevent any accidents during trekking.
