Tourist guide claims Indore couple was accompanied by three men before they went missing

A tourist guide has informed the police that the couple from Indore was accompanied by three men on the day they went missing from Sohra.
Albert Pde, who is one of the guides at Mawlakhiat village, on Saturday said that he met the couple – Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam – and three other men while they were on their way back from the double decker root bridge in Nongriat.
He said that the four men were conversing in Hindi while the woman was a few steps behind.
Pde has also informed the police that he had offered the couple his service on May 22, but they politely declined.
The Raghuvanshis had taken the service of Bha Wansai instead to walk them to Nongriat where they spent the night at the Shipara Homestay before ascending the next day without a guide.
“They declined my service on their return,” he said, adding that by the time he reached Mawlakhiat, their scooter was not there any longer. He had also deposed before the Police.
The newlywed couple went missing on May 23 and their rented scooter was found at Sohrarim, several kilometers away from the parking lot at Mawlakhiat latched with the keys on it.
While the couple went missing on May 23, Raja’s body was found in a gorge near Weisawdong falls on June 2 while a search for his wife was underway.
