  • Three candidates coached by AISPETC Shillong cleared Civil Service Prelims

    Three candidates who underwent coaching in All India Service Pre Examination Training Centre, Shillong cleared the UPSC Preliminary Examination of the prestigious Civil Service Examination 2023, the result of which was recently declared.

    The three candidates are Nidakyrkhu Dkhar, Anmiel Azareel Syiem and Thomas Edison Sumer and they will be appearing for the Main Examination soon.

    The AISPETC, Shillong is housed in the permanent campus of the Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI) located in Mawdiangdiang, New Shillong. Earlier, MATI was located in Additional Secretariat, Shillong.

    Notably, the Institute provides coaching in its permanent campus for over 125 students every year for the past two years.

    The Institute has hostel capacity of about 75 where students from across the state come to prepare themselves for prestigious Civil Service Examination, which is the gate way for IAS, IPS amongst other.

    Faculty from major cities of India come for online and offline classes here regularly. Test batches are conducted at regular intervals.

    Amongst the three candidates, one of them is a hosteller and has expressed that the regular classes and test batches helped to crack this tough exam.

    The Institute shall arrange for mains preparation which is scheduled in September for these students so that they may clear the next two step process.

    More than 10 lakh students applied for the examination of which only 14,000 made to the mains
