    West Jaintia Hills Police on Saturday intercepted tourist Toyota Innova vehicle bearing registration number ML 05 T 3049 in NH 6 along Ummulong and detected six suspected African National.

    They were proceeding to East Jaintia Hills for participating in football tournament in Mosiang Lamare Village.

    Out of the six African nationals three possessed valid travel documents and were released. They are Enock Kwabena-29 yrs from Ghana, Olaleye Joseph Mayowa-26 yrs from Nigeria and Moses Zutah-24 yrs from Ghana

    Three other do not possessed valid travel documents hence they have been detained and a cognizable case has been registered against them under appropriate sections of the law.

    They are Guilavogui Victor-25 yrs of Guinea, Kehinde Edris Olayimka-26 yrs from Libera and Vidal Luis Chissano-25 yrs from Mozambique .
