    Suspected Bangladesh National(s) killed one Indian National named Priskila Suchiang aged 45 years at around 11 am on Monday in Donaskur Elaka Narpuh, East Jaiñtia Hills District about two kilometres India-Bangladesh border.

    The police rushed to the village and took the deceased’s body to Khliehriat for post morterm.

    On receipt of information about the incident, a team of KSU Narpuh Circle members went for spot verification on Tuesday.

    The KSU members learnt that the deceased left behind two children and she was engaged in a business transaction with one Muslim person who is a Bangladesh National.

    The local residents informed the KSU members that the deceased accompanied by her son went on foot till they reached one thatched hut where the deceased used to halt for resting.

    The ill fated son of the deceased informed that he told his mother to rest while he went searching for a route for delivery of the goods but on return he was dumbfounded to witness his mother breathless lying in the pool of blood in the hut.

    The son went running for help to the village and some villagers responded to his cries for help and accompanied him to the hut where they saw the deceased brutal murder with marks of injuries caused by dao to the face and hand and leg.

    The KSU members condemned the brutal murder of the deceased and cautioned the local residents to be alert and careful while carrying out business dealing with Bangladesh Nationals.

    The KSU members warned the local residents against entertaining Bangladesh Nationals in their village in their business transaction.

    The KSU members urged the police department to track down the culprit(s) and ensure exemplary punishment as per provision of laws.
