Summit for framing Meghalaya Film Policy

The Mass Media Department, St Anthony’s College and Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, (JMC), NEHU (North Eastern Hill University) will host a Summit on the Meghalaya State Film Policy on Thursday next week at St. Anthony’s College, Conference Hall.

Sponsored by ICSSR-NERC, Shillong, during the summit, different panel discussions with members of the film and art fraternity of the state will be organized.

The panelists will discuss on all relevant issues, challenges the film making in our state. These will be incorporated into a drafted film policy which will be
submitted to the government.

Notably even after thirty years of film producing and film making, Meghalaya doesn’t have a policy yet which will regulate films in the state.
