Special Session for consideration of delimitation of JHADC constituencies

A special session of the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) will be held on Wednesday at 11 am for consideration of “The Jaintia Hills Autonomous District (Constitution of District Council) (Amendment) Bill, 2024.

The special session was summoned by JHADC Chairman Dr. S Shangpung on the receipt of a requisition letter dated 2nd August, 2024 signed by more than two thirds of the Members of the District Council.

“The Jaintia Hills Autonomous District (Constitution of District Council) (Amendment) Bill, 2024 dwell on the report of the Delimitation Committee of JHADC regarding the Delimitation of the 29 Constituencies under JHADC .
