BJP legislator from South Shillong Sanbor Shullai donated his one month salary for felicitating six differently abled students as a mark of recognition of their achievement in the field of academics and sports.

Speaking on the occasion, Shullai informed that out of his Rs 2.3 lakh monthly salary as MLA, he has decided to donate Rs 1 lakh to Priska Pyngrope from Bethany Society, who would soon represent India in the World Arms Wrestling to be held at Maldova, Europe.

The MLA also extended financial support of Rs 20,000 each to other five students including Ankita Das, who scored 89 percent in the 2024 SSLC examination.
