Smuggled items worth Rs 22 lakh seized in SGH

Huge quantity of clothing and cosmetic items worth Rs 22 lakh were seized along the international border in South Garo Hills while being smuggled to Bangladesh.

The items were seized during a joint operation carried out between the BSF and South Garo Hills police on Wednesday.  

All the seized items were handed over to the concerned Custom office for further legalaction.
