    Sikkim one of the North Eastern states nestled in the Himalayas, has been selected by National Geographic as one of the cool place to visit in 2024 in the Globe.

    Sikkim feature in the National Geographic’s coolest list 2024 the 30 most exciting destination to visit in 2024″.

    The list encompasses destinations from every corner of the globe from cities with rich gastronomy to awe-inspiring natural wonders.

    This prestigious honour highlights Sikkim’s stunning natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and unique experiences that make it a must- visit destination for travelers.

    Sikkim is the only state in India to feature in this prestigious list which also includes areas diverse as the ruins of Pompeii, Atacama Desert of Chili, Ana Malit the mountains of Albania and amongst the three places shortlisted in Asia along with China and Taiwan.

    In addition to Sikkim, National Geographic has also highlighted 29 other destinations that are worth visiting in 2024. These include lesser-known gems, hidden treasures, and off-the-beaten path locations that offer travelers the opportunity to explore new and exciting places.

    After the GLOF, only the extreme Northern part of Sikkim is closed for tourists, where as the other Districts are safe and open for tourist to visit in this festive and winter season.
