    • Shullai to sworn in as new minister

    BJP legislator from South Shillong Sanbor Shullai will be sworn in as new minister of the Conrad K Sangma-led state government. Shullai will replace AL Hek after he was dropped by the Chief Minister.

    Hek was holding portfolios of health and family welfare, home (prison), arts and culture. 

    Sources said the sudden cabinet reshuffle came after Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the state. The reshuffle was based on Shah’s recommendation, they said
