Shillong Premier League: Langsning crush Rangdajied 4-0

Langsning FC produced a commanding performance to outclass Rangdajied United 4-0 in the Shillong Premier League 2025 at SSA Stadium, First Ground, Polo, on Saturday.
Goals from Nelson Rymbai (6’), Damonlang Pathaw (27’, 44’) and Dajiedlang Wanshnong (64’) sealed the win, propelling Langsning to third place in the table with four points from two outings. Rangdajied, meanwhile, slipped to eighth with just a single point and are yet to score this season.
Nelson opened the account with a spectacular long-range strike that left RUFC keeper Meshan Banjop Sumer rooted. Damonlang then struck twice—first with a free header and then with a twisting effort off a Chusrang Sangma chip just before half-time.
Rangdajied pressed hard in the second half but squandered chances through Everson Malieh, Benny V Khriam and Deepson Tokbi, while a stoppage-time free-kick rattled the crossbar. Their misfortune was compounded when Dajiedlang volleyed in Langsning’s fourth at the far post before being substituted.
Langsning’s defence, marshalled by captain Atlanson Kharmaw, held firm despite some nervy moments, ensuring a clean sheet.
The next SPL 2025 fixture will see Laitkor face Mylliem on 27 August at 4:30pm.
