    Shillong Lajong became the first team to book their place in the quarterfinals of the Meghalaya State League 2024 after winning all three of their group stage matches. Their latest victory came in a commanding 4-0 win over Mawtari Myrdon SC, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their top position in Group E on Saturday.

    Lajong has been a force to be reckoned with, netting an impressive 20 goals while conceding only 2, leading to a remarkable goal difference of +18. Key contributions came from players like Yohaan Benjamin, Deibormame Tongper, Kynsaibor Lhuid and Rimankhraw Kharumnuid, who have consistently delivered on the pitch.

    In Group A, Chipakkore FC leads with 4 points from 2 matches, while Lumsohkhlur SC follows closely with 3 points. Lumsohkhlur will face Attong Matgrik, who is currently seeking their first win in the competition and has 1 point on the table.

    Group B sees Sutnga SS & CC sitting at the top with 6 points from 2 wins. Their upcoming match against Khliehmawlieh, who has 3 points, will be essential for both teams as they aim to secure solid positions.

    Mawlai SC leads Group F with 6 points and an impressive goal difference of +27. Their next match against Patharkhmah, who is yet to earn a point, is expected to be competitive.
