JOWAI: In a major embarrassment to the NPP led executive committee in JHADC, executive member incharge education Dr S Shangpung failed to answer any supplementary questions posed by Congress MDC Hollando Lamin in the summer session this morning.

In reply to Lamin’s question, Shangpung replied that there are 75 numbers of district council lower primary schools run by the JHADC while there are 327 numbers of school teachers employed by the Council.

Lamin rose up and asked the numbers of students enrolled in the schools run by the Council.
The Executive Member who is Phd holder replied that he has the list of students enrolled for each schools but he has not totalled the total numbers of all the students.

Lamin insisted on a reply but Shangpung could not provide a reply apparently he did not do his works.
The Congress MDC from War Central asked another question what is the policy of the education department.

Again the Executive Member couldnot provide reply and simply escape by saying “I want notice” and it has become a trend in JHADC.
