    The Seng Kur Kharsahnoh Central Body appealed to the Meghalaya Government and Meghalaya Police Department to ensure a safe and secure environment for commercial tourist vehicle drivers to ensure non recurrence of such crimes in future.

    In a letter to Batlang S Sohliya, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills District, the Seng Kur Kharsahnoh introduced themselves as an association of all the members of the Kharsahnoh clan who live all over the Khasi-Jaintia Hills.

    They informed the newly joined DC on the kidnapping and brutal killing of their clan member, (L) Fullmoon Kharsahnoh, resident of Larnai village, West Jaiñtia Hills, and the subsequent theft of his tourist taxi, bearing registration number ML04 D1113.

    The Seng Kur formally registered its protest before the West Jaintia Hills District Administration and before the State Government over the kidnapping and brutal killing of their clan member, (L) Fullmoon Kharsahnoh.

    They called for justice for the family of (L) Fullmoon Kharsahnoh through the agencies of the West Jaintia Hills District Administration and the judiciary, whereby the investigation of the crime is quickly expedited, the suspect/s are quickly brought to trial and after due process of law, the perpetrator/s are given exemplary punishment according to law.

    They appealed for prompt action from the District Administration and support from the State Government in order to ensure justice for the family of (L) Fullmoon Kharsahnoh.
