  • SDRF recovers 2 bodies of MTC Bus mishap victims

    The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) today was able to recover the bodies of the last two victims of the MTC Bus Mishap from Ringdi River in Nongshram village, East Garo Hills District.

    The body of the first victim was recovered at around 0900 Hrs by the SDRF team who were pressed into action since yesterday evening.

    The SDRF team recovered the second body in the afternoon. Both bodies recovered are male taking the death toll in the MTC Bus Mishap to 8 (Eight).

    The SDRF team comprising of 8 (Eight) jawans was led by T K Sangma, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, East Garo Hills District.
