Sanshnong CLF from Meghalaya wins national recognition at Atmanirbhar Sangathan Award

The Sanshnong Cluster Level Federation (CLF) under the Block Mission Management Unit, Wapung Block, East Jaintia Hills District, operating under the Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS), C&RD Department, has been conferred the 2nd Prize in the “Best Federation (Below 5 Years)” category at the Atmanirbhar Sangathan Award held in New Delhi on August 14.
The award recognises the CLF’s remarkable role in promoting Federation-led Inclusive Development through the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM).
On the occasion, one of the CLF leaders interacted with the Union Minister of Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, sharing her journey from a Self-Help Group (SHG) member to a “Lakhpati Didi” and CLF leader. Her story exemplified the transformative impact of community mobilisation and women’s leadership in rural livelihoods.
