Royal Global University launches first-of-its-kind integrated BA/BSc programs with civil services coaching

Assam Royal Global University (ARGU) has launched an ambitious academic initiative to empower Northeast India’s youth: Integrated BA and BSc degree programs combined with civil services coaching. Starting in the 2025–26 academic session, the program will offer students a unique blend of undergraduate education and competitive exam preparation under one roof.
In collaboration with OnCampus and the renowned SPM IAS Academy, the initiative aims to prepare students for UPSC, APSC, and other competitive exams alongside their regular coursework. The BA track will offer disciplines such as Sociology, Economics, Public Administration, Political Science, History, Psychology, and English. The BSc track includes Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Botany, and Zoology.
ARGU chancellor Dr. A.K. Pansari said, “This integrated program underscores our commitment to nurturing future leaders who will serve the nation with integrity and excellence.”
Dr. A.K. Buragohain, chairman (academic), emphasized the innovative nature of the program, calling it “a seamless blend of academic rigor and professional coaching designed to build future civil servants from the ground up.”
Utpal Kanta, CEO of OnCampus, stated, “We are proud to support this visionary model by offering digital tools and career guidance to help students access world-class resources.”
SPM IAS Academy director Satyajit Kumar added, “Our mission is to make top-tier civil services coaching accessible. This collaboration will inspire and guide young minds across the Northeast.”
The coaching component, provided by SPM IAS Academy, boasts impressive success rates—75.48% in APSC 2022 and 82.55% in 2023. The curriculum includes expert-led classes, regular mock exams, skill-building workshops, and personalized mentorship.
