Roadshow at Nongmengsong against addiction

As part of the observation of International Day against Drug abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2022, the office of District Social Welfare Officer, East Khasi Hills Shillong on Tuesday organised a Roadshow at Nongmensong market.

Addressing the gathering, ML Warjri, DCPO, District Child Protection Unit, East Khasi Hills, Shillong highlighted on the objectives of the programme saying that addiction in drugs or any substance has become a disease in the community.

She called upon the cooperation of individuals, NGOs and the community as a whole to eradicate this disease for the welfare of the youth.
