RM Kurbah new DC of East Khasi Hills, DC Tura transferred but no bureaucrat named as DC Ampati

In minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the MDA-2.0 Government effected the transferred of five deputy commissioners and others officers within two weeks of assuming powers.

R.M. Kurbah, IAS (SCS: 2009), Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Director, School Education & Literacy and State Project Director, SSA (SEMAM) is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.

S.C. Sadhu, IAS (RR: 2011), Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as Director, Community & Rural Development, Meghalaya. He shall also function as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Community & Rural Development, Fisheries & Water Resources Departments.

W. Nongsiej, IAS (SCS: 2011), Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Prisons & Correctional Services Department.

G. Kharmawphlang, IAS (SCS: 2014), Deputy Commissioner, South West Garo Hills District, Ampati is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang.

But the Govt did not transfer any bureaucrat to assume charge as Deputy Commissioner of South West Garo Hills District, Ampati.

Swapnil Tembe, IAS (RR: 2015), Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills District, Tura is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Education Department and Director, School Education & Literacy and Special Project Director.

Jagdish Chelani, IAS (RR: 2018), Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills District, Tura.

Vibhor Agarwal, IAS (RR: 2019), Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Departments etc., is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar.
