Rice under NFSA released in East Jaintia Hills District

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat informed that Rice under NFSA for the month of August, 2023 has been released in East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat.

Rice under AAY will be distributed at the scale of 35 Kgs per card free of cost, PHH quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per unit free of cost and Non- NFSA quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 7.215 kgs per household at rate of Rs. 12.00/- per kg which is the wholesale price and not to exceed Rs. 14.00/- per kg for retail.

Any non- supply, over charging of rate or supply of inferior quality may be reported to the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat or to the District Grievances Officer of East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat or call the Toll- Free No. 1697.
