Rice released in Sohra Sub-Division

The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Sohra Civil Sub-Division, Sohra has informed that Pubic Distribution System rice has been released at the scale of 35 kg per card at the rate of Rs. 3/- per kg for AAY card holders, 5 kg per head at Rs. 3/- per kg for PHH card holders and 7.215 kg per card at the cost fixed by the Vigilance Committee of not more than Rs.15/- per kg for Non-NFSA card holders for the month of May, 2021 to all the Government approved Fair Price Shop dealers.

The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Sohra Civil Sub-Division, further informed that in addition to the normal quota, the Government has also released rice free of cost under Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Aana Yojana (PMGKAY) at the scale of 5 kg per head for AAY and PHH card holders only for the month of May, 2021.

All concerned Wholesalers/FPS dealers and beneficiaries are instructed to strictly adhere to the protocols and advisories issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department by maintaining social distancing/physical distance of 6 feet/2 meters, wearing of mask, cough etiquette, not spitting in public places, hand sanitization etc.
