The District Magistrate has been requested to suspend traffic movement passing through Bailey bridge at Umrol Dwar Ksuid (Shillong Bye – Pass) immediately to avoid any untoward incident till the rectification of defects is completed on the Bailey Bridge Umroi – Dwar Ksuid (Shillong Bye – Pass).

“I am satisfied that it is necessary to prohibit movement of vehicles to ply through the Bailey Bridge at umral – Dwar Ksuid (Shillong Bye – Pass) in the interest of Public Order and for the safety of the road users as well as the bridge and road pavement in the area in particular and the District in general.
