Women’s Under-17 Category: East Khasi Hills clinched a thrilling victory over Ri-Bhoi with a nail-biting 1-0 finish. The victorious Ri-Bhoi team was awarded the Champions Trophy by the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Shakliar K Warjri as the chief guest, Richard B Uriah, principal North Liberty Higher Secondary School as the guest of honour in the presence of John F Kharshing, President of the Meghalaya Sports Olympic Association.

Bronze Medal Matches: West Jaintia Hills claimed the bronze in Men’s football, exhibiting a dominant display with a 7-2 victory over South West Khasi Hills. The women’s bronze medal match was a close-fought battle, with South West Khasi Hills edging out their opponents with a narrow 1-0 win.

Minister Shakliar K Warjri met with players and coaches from all six winning teams, offering words of encouragement and inspiring young football talent across various districts. He also presented the Best Player awards to Sanfida Nongrum of East Khasi Hills and Defender Sylliang of Ri-Bhoi District, acknowledging their stellar performances on the field.
