    In exercise of powers conferred by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (Foreigners Division), New Delhi, the Superintendent of Police cum Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills District has directed all the managers/owners of respective Hotels and Guest Houses etc. in East Khasi Hills District who have not registered their user IDs for submission of Hotels/Guest Houses/Lodges/Rent Houses/Inns etc reports for online ‘C’ Form (C-FRO) to report to the office of the Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong for registering the same. Those who have registered their user IDs should submit their report regularly within 24 hours of the arrival of foreigners without fail.

    All the owners and tenants of Private Houses/Boarding Houses/Hostels, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Churches, Mosques, Temples and Hospital should report to the office of the Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills District, if any foreigner resides/studies in their respective premises/institution/house/rented house, and for registration of ‘C’ Form.

    Further, the above authorities should inform the office of the Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills District, immediately about the visit/stay of foreigners. All the concerned authority should fully comply of the above order and any infringement/violation of the above directives, stringent legal action will be taken against the concerned authority/individuals as per the provision of Foreigners Act, 1946. (MIPR)
