Renew Arms License: DC West Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills has informed that the National Database of Arms Licenses (NDAL) Portal has been reopened by the Ministry of Home Affairs till 29^th June, 2020 for the purpose of uploading of the remaining Arms License on the Portal.

He has requested all Arms License holders who were issued or have renewed arms license prior to 31-12-2016 to produce their license in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills within 20-06-2020 along with Residential Certificate from their respective Headman, EPIC of the License Holder and two passport size photograph.

Further, license holders having 3 (three) firearms have to deposit the 3^rd firearm to the office of the Deputy Commissioner within 13.12.2020 as amended under the Provision of Section 3 of the Arms Act, 1959 by the Arms (Amendment Act, 2019. ADIPR
