    The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Shillong on Wednesday organized district-level quiz for the All India Quiz on Financial Literacy 2023 in Jowai. Students from class VIII-X in West Jaintia Hills District and East Jaintia Hills District participated in the quiz.

    The aim was to promote financial literacy and empower students with knowledge about the banking/financial sector and the economy, including G20 fora.

    In West Jaintia Hills District, Nongtalang Govt. Secondary School bagged the 1st prize, Sohkha Govt. Higher Secondary School and Jowai Public School as 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.

    In East Jaintia Hills District, Sutnga Government UP School won the 1st prize, Rymbai Government Secondary School and Tep Kyndait Government UP School as 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.

    Cash prizes, trophies, and participation certificates were awarded to the winners.

    The winning teams from each district will advance to the State level quiz, followed by a Zonal Level Quiz and a National level quiz during the G20 event.
